Broadway Kids
Matilda, Annie, and Peter pan
Dates: July 7-18, 2025

Details: For our Broadway show this year, we’ll be showcasing 3 songs and scenes from each of these musicals that feature kid characters. Each actor will be assigned to a show, but will be perform in 5 songs, including an All Cast song from each show. Come be a Revolting Child with Matilda, break free of the Hard Knock Life with Annie, or learn to Crow with Peter Pan and the Lost Kids.
Time: 9:30am-3:30pm M-F

imagine a dragon
Dates: July 21-August 1, 2025

Details: The dragon is back in town! Well… not really. That’s the story a ragtag band of innkeepers makes up, desperate to draw questing heroes to the struggling Dancing Dragon Inn. Soon the inn is full of unexpected guests, from an army of princesses out to prove their bravery, to a group of overwhelmed heroes trying to hold onto their fame. But what happens if they all discover the innkeepers’ dragon story is made up?

Dates: Aug 4-15, 2025

Details: This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.

Additional Details About our camps
Casting: Each Lights Up camp has 3 teachers and 3 casts, so there will be 3 Moanas, 3 Isobels, 3 Mauis, etc. They rotate each scene.
Extended Day: Available from 8:30-9:30, and 3:30-5:00, for $10/hr, and can be paid when registering, or on the last day of camp.

2nd Summer for Lights Up Youth Theater!
We can’t wait to continue the success of last year, so get ready for another fun summer!
Get ready to act, sing, dance, and have fun this summer! Actors will work together to rehearse and perform new and modern musicals, made for kids. They will collaborate to create a performance they're proud of, finding a new community of creative kids that are kind and supportive, and have a lot of fun along the way. Lights Up creates a safe and empowering space for kids of all identities.
After 2 weeks of day camps, the final Friday will end in an evening performance, fully staged with a live band, costumes, set, props, and lights (of course!). Your actor will be thrilled to have the special experience of performing on a stage. There's nothing like it!
